A/Prof Janine Stevenson

A/Prof Stevenson's special interests lie in working with victims of trauma, individuals with personality disorders, older adults, and dementia patients. She is equipped to provide online video conferencing sessions through Dokotela, enabling her to reach a wider range of patients. Additionally, A/Prof Stevenson has expertise in various areas, including bipolar disorder, complex trauma, dementia-related disorders, depression, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), personality disorders, psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychotherapy, and schizophrenia.

Throughout her career, A/Prof Stevenson has gained significant experience in working with specific populations, including asylum seekers and refugees, doctors, psychiatrists or medical students, as well as military personnel and veterans.

A/Prof Stevenson also provides professional supervision services, lending her knowledge and expertise to support and guide other medical professionals. As a retired Clinical Associate Professor, she is now focused on teaching and supervision, and does not engage in clinical work.
