He has extensive experience in working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and is highly knowledgeable in the areas of ADHD, anxiety disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), depression, developmental disabilities, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and psychotherapy.

Dr McAuliffe is qualified with a MBBS degree and is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) as well as the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). He also holds a certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

In addition to his work with children and adolescents, Dr McAuliffe regularly provides care to young adults. He has a particular interest in mental health conditions associated with medical or surgical conditions.
