A/Prof Hodo Haxhimolla

A/Prof Hodo Haxhimolla is a highly skilled and experienced urological surgeon with over a decade of experience serving patients at the National Capital Private Hospital. His academic journey began at the University of New South Wales, where he completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1992 with great distinction. He undertook further training in urology and fellowship in 2002, consequently obtaining his specialist qualification, FRACS (Urology), a year later.

Dr Haxhimolla is a certified Da Vinci robotic and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgeon. He acquired his robotic surgery training from the prestigious centre at UCLA Irvine in California, USA, completing a certified course in 2003. He was a member of the first team in Australia to conduct a robotic radical prostatectomy, working alongside Professor Anthony Costello in Melbourne, 2003. He was also part of the original team that introduced robotic surgery to Canberra, serving as a member of the Medical Advisory Board at the National Capital Private Hospital.

Dr Haxhimolla's expertise in robotic and laparoscopic surgery has contributed significantly to the excellent outcomes recorded by his patients. He is highly regarded among his peers and has earned a reputation as one of the foremost urological surgeons in Australia.
