Dr Francis Chai

Dr. Francis Chai is an experienced ear, nose, and throat (ENT) surgeon with a passion for head and neck tumor surgery, sinus diseases, and voice disorders in both children and adults. He has been in private practice since 2002, and his services extend to full spectrum general paediatric and adult ENT procedures. Dr. Chai's expertise in the field of tumors of the parotid is unrivaled, having skillfully completed over 650 cases, delivering excellent results to his patients. He performs surgeries at the Hollywood Private Hospital, and as a sessional consultant surgeon at the Royal Perth Hospital.

Dr. Chai graduated from the University of WA in 1992, after which he qualified as a surgeon with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) in the area of Otolaryngology, Head, and Neck Surgery in 1999. He received further surgical training at New York University (NYU) School of Medicine in the US from 2000-2001, where he worked in the institution's broad Department, which covers NYU Tisch Hospital, Bellevue Public Hospital, and Veteran's Affairs Hospital. Dr. Chai's presentation during this period received the first prize from the New York Head and Neck Society.
