Dr Diya Saleh

Dr. Saleh is a highly skilled physician, specialising in both Haematology and Acute/General Medicine. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians, holding dual fellowships in General and Acute Care Medicine as well as Clinical Haematology. Dr. Saleh's interests in haematology include clotting and bleeding disorders, lymphoma, myeloma, Leukaemia, and other haematological malignancies. Dr. Saleh adopts an evidence-based and holistic approach to healthcare, providing patients with the best possible care. His knowledge and expertise in complex and challenging medical issues make him a valuable asset to the regional healthcare setting.

After working as a rural GP in New Zealand for more than six years, Dr. Saleh obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners and Post Graduate Diploma in Community Emergency Medicine from Auckland University. Dr. Saleh went on to complete his basic Physician Training in Melbourne's Alfred Health and Peninsula Health, and his Advanced Training in General and Acute Care Medicine at Monash Health in Melbourne. He then moved to Sydney to complete his Advanced Haematology Training at Wollongong hospital, St George Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital.

Dr. Saleh has since relocated to Armidale with his family to be part of the local community. He is passionate about teaching medical students and junior medical doctors and is committed to sharing his knowledge and expertise with the next generation. Dr. Saleh brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the regional healthcare community, and he is dedicated to providing patients with the best possible care.
