Dr. Lourens has a wide range of interests within orthopaedic surgery, including the hip, foot, spine, and paediatric orthopaedics. His special interests lie in shoulder, elbow, and hand surgeries, with expertise in keyhole/arthroscopic procedures for the shoulder and hand. He also performs shoulder replacement surgeries, including both anatomic and reverse replacements. Additionally, Dr. Lourens is skilled in knee arthroscopy and ligament injuries, as well as sport-related surgeries for the shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, and ankle.
