Dr David Nguyen holds a B Pharm qualification and has experience working with various age groups including adults between the ages of 18 and 60. He has expertise in addiction, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, problem gambling, psychosis, schizophrenia, and supportive psychotherapy.

In terms of services, Dr Nguyen bulk-bills medical students and healthcare workers, and is available for civil medicolegal opinions and reports (MBS item 291). He also offers shared care, is a WorkCover provider, and supports COVID-19 healthcare workers.
