Dr Charles Itty

Dr Charles Itty is a skilled cardiologist with extensive experience in clinical practice and research. He specialises in interventional cardiology and is renowned for his expertise in pacemaker implantation.

Dr Itty obtained his MBBS and completed his DM in general cardiology at Christian Medical College in Ludhiana, India. He then went on to pursue further training in interventional cardiology, completing fellowships at The Canberra Hospital and John Hunter Hospital in Australia. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Sydney.

Throughout his career, Dr Itty has held various senior positions in the field of cardiology. He has served as a senior staff specialist and the director of cardiology at Lismore Base Hospital. Currently, he works as a staff specialist and interventional cardiologist at The Canberra Hospital, where he holds the position of Deputy Director of Cardiology.
