Dr Bobby Chan

Dr Bobby Chan is an Endocrinologist with over a decade of experience. He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB.BS), BSc(Med) from the University of New South Wales in 2007. Afterward, he completed his physician training and endocrine advanced training at St. George Hospital, where he was admired for his excellent performance and was later admitted to the Royal Australian College of Physician as an Endocrinologist in 2015.

Since then, Dr Chan has worked in several hospitals, including Orange, Nepean Hospital and Blue Mountain Hospital. He has gained expertise in all things endocrinology, from obesity, insulin resistance, and osteoporosis to thyroid diseases, pituitary, and adrenal diseases. Bobby has a particular interest in Type 1, Type 2 Diabetes, and Gestational Diabetes.

Dr Chan helped to form the Gestational Diabetes Clinic and the Multidisciplinary Case Conference at St. George Hospital in 2016. He is also presently working at Kareena Private Hospital as an active consulting physician.

Dr Chan is an excellent communicator, and he is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. He is compassionate, understanding, and committed to providing the best possible care to his patients. He continues to attend and present at local and international meetings such as the Endocrine Society Meeting in the USA and also dedicates his time to the hospital clinical tutoring. Dr Chan also undertakes private work at multiple locations, including Hurstville Medical Specialists.
