Dr Ayesha Saqib

Dr Ayesha Saqib is an experienced senior consultant oncologist based in Coburg, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. With a passion for delivering exceptional care to her patients, she specialises in the management of breast cancer, hepatobiliary and GI cancer, lung cancer, and neuro-oncology.

Dr Saqib completed her medical oncology training through the Victorian Medical Oncology Training Group in 2013. During her advanced training, she also gained valuable experience in respiratory medicine and palliative care. As a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), she holds appointments in both private and public hospitals.

Recognizing the importance of medical education, Dr Saqib has completed a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Teaching from the University of Melbourne. She is actively involved in teaching and supervising medical students and oncology advanced trainees. Furthermore, she is dedicated to clinical research and has contributed to the development and conduct of several local clinical research trials. As a principal investigator of ongoing oncology trials, she has published numerous research papers, book chapters, and abstracts.
