Dr Anupam Chaudhuri

Dr Anupam Chaudhuri is an experienced radiation oncologist with a special interest in prostate cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, and skin cancers. He practices at Icon Cancer Centre Revesby, Icon Cancer Centre Wahroonga, and Icon Cancer Centre Concord. Dr Chaudhuri completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at India’s University of Calcutta in 1996. He then underwent specialist oncology training at Nottingham University Hospital and Cardiff’s Velindre Cancer Centre in the United Kingdom.

Being a member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP), Dr Chaudhuri gained extensive radiation oncology experience in the United Kingdom, United States of America, and New Zealand before joining St Vincent’s Hospital and Northern Beaches Cancer Care in New South Wales. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) and an esteemed member of several leading Australian and New Zealand cancer trial groups.

Dr Chaudhuri is recognized as a leading radiation oncologist who specialises in the use of stereotactic ablative body radiation therapy (SABR) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) techniques. His clinical experience spans a wide range of solid tumor malignancies. Dr Chaudhuri is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to his patients, and his expertise lies in the management of breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, skin cancer, and stereotactic radiation therapy.

Throughout his career, Dr Chaudhuri has contributed significantly to medical research. His notable accomplishments include co-authoring articles such as "High dose rate brachytherapy boost in prostate cancer: A New Zealand case series," published in the Journal of Radiotherapy in Practice in 2016, and "Treatment of regional cutaneous nodular metastases from melanoma using high-dose rate mould brachytherapy," published in the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology in 2011. He has also presented findings such as "Our experience in the treatment and overall survival of patients with small cell lung cancer at the Oncology Department, Singleton Hospital, Swansea, UK" at the Lung Cancer conference in 2008.
