Dr Timothy Siu

Dr. Timothy Siu is a highly skilled Consultant Neurosurgeon with a focus on minimally invasive spinal surgery, endoscopic surgery for pituitary tumors, multimodal imaging, electrophysiology-guided surgery for eloquent brain, and awake surgery. By introducing and modifying new techniques, he has become a pioneer in minimally invasive spinal surgery.

After completing his medical and specialist training in Sydney, Dr. Siu went on to the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centre in the USA, where he joined the fellowship program and obtained advanced training in the management of brain, spine, and peripheral nerve tumors. Dr. Siu then earned a Doctorate in Visual Neuroscience from the University of New South Wales.

As a leading expert in minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Siu has been involved in various research projects, leading to co-authorship of numerous publications in his field of specialty. He has also applied 3D printing technology to develop individualized spinal implants for the treatment of spinal deformities.
