Shyamalee is a highly skilled Renal Physician with extensive experience in Nephrology and General Medicine. With her Staff Specialist Nephrology position at Calvary Bruce Public Hospital and Staff Specialist Appointment with the Department of Obstetrics at The Canberra Hospital, Shyamalee is equipped with a diverse range of skills and expertise in her field. Her training at several tertiary hospitals including Royal North Shore, St George, and Prince of Wales in Metropolitan Sydney has equipped her to manage patients undergoing dialysis, transplant, and renal supportive care, with conditions such as chronic kidney disease, diabetes, hypertension, and acute kidney injury.

Shyamalee is known for her ability to manage complex patients and focuses on providing a holistic and patient-centered approach to care. Her wide range of skills and expertise make her more than capable of assisting in the management of difficult cases. Alongside her weekly Fetal Medicine Unit (FMU) clinic, she is happy to assist with the management of patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and hypertension.
