Dr Rasha Cosman, a medical oncologist based in Darlinghurst, Sydney, is dedicated to the advancement of medicine and education. Graduating from the esteemed University of New South Wales in 2000, she completed her undergraduate training at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick. Dr Cosman then went on to pursue her postgraduate training at St George Hospital in Kogarah, where she gained extensive experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of cancers, including breast, ovarian, lung, upper gastrointestinal, colorectal, uro-genital, head and neck, and neurological cancer.
Recognizing the significance of research in oncology, Dr Cosman undertook a research fellowship at the National Health and Medical Research Council Clinical Trials Centre. During this period, she collaborated closely with both the Australasian Lung Cancer Trials Group (ALTG) and the Cooperative Trials Group for Neuro-Oncology (COGNO). Through her research work, Dr Cosman has acquired valuable insights into the latest developments, technological advancements, and groundbreaking research in the field of oncology.
Dr Cosman is a patient-centered medical professional who strongly advocates for a multidisciplinary approach to cancer diagnosis, treatment, and management. Drawing on her clinical experience and unwavering commitment to excellence in medicine, she delivers personalized, holistic, and compassionate care for her oncology patients.
