Dr. Sirigiri is an experienced Otolaryngology- Head and Neck surgeon who holds fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) in Australia. He completed his postgraduate training in ENT surgery at the prestigious Govt ENT Hospital- Osmania Medical College in India before pursuing advanced training through a clinical fellowship in Paediatric Otolaryngology at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Detroit. Dr. Sirigiri has extensive experience in the care of both children and adults with ear, nose, throat, head, and neck conditions.
Dr. Sirigiri is a vocal advocate of Coblation Intracapsular Tonsillectomy, which minimizes postoperative pain and bleeding by causing minimal damage to surrounding tissues. He is also promoting Cochlear Implant surgery at regional hospitals, such as Tamara Private Hospital, to make the procedure more accessible and to reduce the need for long trips to Sydney.
As a member of the Australasian Society of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery (ASOHS), the Cochlear Implant Group of India (CIGI), and the Association of Otolaryngologists of India (AOI), Dr. Sirigiri is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in his field. Additionally, he is affiliated with the University of Sydney as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer and is passionate about education and professional development for junior staff, medical students, and surgical registrars.
