Dr. Paul van Minnen is a highly skilled plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specialises in hand and wrist surgery. He attended Utrecht University in The Netherlands, where he obtained his medical degree, PhD, and completed his training in plastic, reconstructive, and hand surgery. He has always had a passion for hand and wrist surgery and has made it the focus of his practice. Dr. van Minnen has extensive experience in treating a wide range of hand and wrist problems and is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care to his patients. He is known for his personal, respectful, and friendly approach, which puts patients at ease and helps to build a trusting relationship between physician and patient. Upon arriving in Australia in 2012, Dr. van Minnen completed three years of advanced fellowship training in Reconstructive Microsurgery, Burns Surgery, and Hand and Wrist Surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre. In recognition of his outstanding work, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon in 2015. Dr. van Minnen has been running a private practice since 2016, where he specialises in hand and wrist surgery. He is committed to staying at the forefront of his field and regularly incorporates the latest techniques, such as joint replacement surgery of the fingers, into his practice.
