Nicholas Lawless is an experienced Psychologist based in Berwick, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. With a strong academic background, he obtained his Bachelor of Psychology (Hons.) from Deakin University in 2016, followed by a Master of Applied Psychology (Clinical Psychology) from Victoria University in 2019.
Nicholas works primarily in various areas of psychology, including anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, early parenthood, life changes or transitions, and trouble sleeping. However, his special areas of interest lie in couples therapy, other relationship difficulties, perfectionism, obsessive-compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, and common life difficulties.
In recognition of his contributions to the field, Nicholas has received prestigious awards. Notably, he was honored for his research on "The psychosocial wellbeing of mothers of large families" at the 17th Annual Conference of the APS Psychology of Relationships Interest Group in November 2018. He also presented his work on "The associations between relationship acceptance and interpersonal dehumanization: A dyadic perspective" at the 15th Annual Conference of the APS Psychology of Relationships Interest Group in November 2016, alongside Dr. G. C. Karantzas.
