After completing his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the Australian National University, Dr. Jones underwent rigorous training in radiation oncology in New South Wales. In 2016, he achieved fellowship recognition from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR). Dr. Jones further broadened his expertise through a clinical research fellowship at the prestigious Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada.

Dr. Jones holds an impressive academic background, with a Master of Public Health and a PhD in Medicine. He is also the Director of Training at the hospital. Alongside his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Jones holds a prestigious appointment as a Clinical Associate Professor within the Tasmanian School of Medicine at the esteemed University of Tasmania.
