Megan’s passion lies in supporting adolescents (16+) and adults on their journey to embrace their authentic selves. Therapy can feel daunting, which is why Megan strives to create a comfortable and safe environment. Compassion and respect form the foundation of her approach, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship. Megan is known for her authentic, creative, warm, and bubbly demeanour, embracing the messiness that comes with being human. Megan takes a client-centred and collaborative approach, and value going beyond the surface with mental health issues. Megan draws upon Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment and Schema Therapies, and Solution-Focused Therapy approaches to tailor her therapeutic style to suit her client’s needs. Megan aims to help build insight, understanding and strategies to empower clients towards meaningful change.
