Dr Markus Trochsler

Dr Markus Trochsler is a qualified General Surgeon based in Adelaide. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Berne, Switzerland in 2003. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, having completed his fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Australia in 2013.

Dr Trochsler's professional interests lie in the field of Upper GI Surgery and Gastroenterology. He specialises in Abdominal Surgery, specifically focusing on Hepatobiliary conditions. With his expertise, he is skilled in performing laparoscopic treatments for reflux disease (GORD) and hiatus hernia, as well as gallbladder and hernia surgeries.

In addition to his abdominal surgery expertise, Dr Trochsler is also experienced in Bariatric Surgery, including gastric bypass and sleeve procedures. He is well-versed in liver and pancreas surgeries, as well as peritoneal surface cancer surgeries involving HIPEC and PIPAC techniques.
