Dr Luke McGhee

Dr Luke McGhee is a consultant Radiation Oncologist practicing in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (Physiology) and MBBS (Hons) degrees from the University of Queensland. Dr McGhee completed his training in radiation oncology at various hospitals including Cairns Base Hospital, Nambour General Hospital, Townsville Hospital, Royal Brisbane Hospital, and Mater Hospital.

Having joined Icon Cancer Centre Cairns in 2013, Dr McGhee serves as a consultant and also holds the position of director of training. He is actively involved in cancer research and is a dedicated member of the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO).

With a special interest in skin malignancies, urogenital, and breast cancers, Dr McGhee provides comprehensive care to patients with these conditions. He also contributes to medical education as a lecturer at James Cook University Medical School.
