Dr Lauren Hicks

Meet Lauren, an accomplished obstetrician and gynecologist who completed her medical degree with honours in 2012 from the University of Melbourne. With a passion for women's health, she then undertook specialized training in obstetrics and gynecology at the Mercy Hospital for Women and Albury Wodonga Health. After completing her training, she honed her skills in advanced gynecology laparoscopic surgery by completing a prestigious AGES-accredited fellowship in 2020 and 2021 through the Mercy Hospital for Women and the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. With her advanced training, Lauren can expertly perform minimally-invasive surgeries for complex gynecological conditions, such as severe endometriosis, laparoscopic myomectomies, and laparoscopic hysterectomies. She uses her expertise to help women recover faster with less pain, scarring, and downtime. It's important to note that Lauren does not perform colposcopy, prolapse, or incontinence procedures. Combining her exceptional skill set with a compassionate approach, Lauren is dedicated to providing exceptional care to her patients.
