Dr Khaing Wai

Dr Khaing Wai is a compassionate and enthusiastic general paediatrician with a strong focus on providing exceptional healthcare. She currently serves as a Consultant Paediatrician at Bendigo Health Hospital and St John of God Bendigo Hospital.

Dr Khaing Wai obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Medicine 1 in Yangon, Myanmar in 2007. She furthered her education by earning a Master of Public Health from Monash University and a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney.

Dr Khaing Wai's commitment to excellence led her to pursue specialised training in Child and Adolescent Health Service at Western Australia, where she achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (F.R.A.C.P).

Passionate about serving diverse communities, Dr Khaing Wai has developed a special interest in refugee health. She understands the unique challenges faced by individuals and families seeking refuge and strives to provide comprehensive and culturally sensitive care.

In addition to her medical pursuits, Dr Khaing Wai is fluent in Burmese and can effectively communicate with patients who prefer this language.
