Dr Hannah Bourne

*This specialist is a Paediatric Cardiologist* Dr Hannah Bourne is a Paediatric and Fetal Cardiologist who completed her medical training at Monash University, including international placements in Malaysia and Samoa. She also holds a Bachelor of Medical Science in Bioethics from Oxford University. After completing specialist training in Paediatric Cardiology at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, she pursued further subspecialty training through a fellowship in Fetal Echocardiography at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. She currently works across multiple institutions, including as a Paediatric and Fetal Cardiologist at Sunshine Hospital and as a Fetal Cardiologist at The Royal Women's Hospital. Her clinical focus includes diagnosing and managing congenital heart conditions in babies and children, with particular expertise in fetal cardiology. She works closely with families throughout the diagnostic and care process, aiming to support both the medical and emotional needs of patients. Dr Bourne’s academic background in bioethics informs her approach to complex decision-making in prenatal and paediatric cardiac care. She is committed to delivering thorough and thoughtful care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys swimming, skiing, trying to surf, and spending time at the beach with her husband and daughter.
