Mr Forward's primary interests lie in orthopaedic surgery, specifically focused on the hip and knee. He specialises in knee surgery for sports injuries, including arthroscopic procedures to address meniscal tears, patella discreation, and articular cartilage injuries. He has also performed over 2000 Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstructions.

Additionally, Mr Forward is experienced in arthritis surgery, both hip and knee replacements, including complex revision surgery using bone graft and modular prostheses. He also specialises in unicompartmental knee replacement and utilizes osteotomes to correct alignment issues of the hip and knee.
