Mr David Leong

David Leong is a highly skilled and experienced Endocrine and General Surgeon with a passion for the management of thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal surgical pathology. As an expert in voice preservation and minimally invasive surgery, he also offers surgical services for hernias and gallbladder pathology.

After completing his general surgery training in 2018, Mr Leong underwent a post-fellowship Endocrine Surgery training program at the renowned Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Western Australia, The Austin in Victoria, and the Royal North Shore Hospital in New South Wales. This extensive training enabled him to gain invaluable experience and expertise in all aspects of thyroid, parathyroid, paraganglioma, and adrenal surgery.

Mr Leong's commitment to research is evident from his completion of a Masters in Epidemiology and the numerous peer-reviewed articles he has published and presented throughout his career. He is currently involved in ongoing research aimed at improving outcomes for patients with thyroid disease.
