Dr Benjamin Au

Dr. Au is an accomplished ophthalmologist, licensed to practice in Australia and Singapore. He hails from Toronto, Canada and obtained his undergraduate degree from St George’s, University of London, UK (previously St George’s Hospital Medical School). As a student, he gained invaluable exposure to the Moorfields Duke Elder Eye Unit. Thereafter, he relocated to Singapore, where he pursued his ophthalmology training at the prestigious Singapore National Eye Centre and a fellowship in Complex Cataracts at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital (RVEEH). He has also benefitted from observerships under the guidance of several renowned ophthalmologists from Canada, the US, and Singapore. Dr. Au has held several leadership positions throughout his career and is the current Clinical Lead of the Acute Ophthalmology Service at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. His extensive experience enables him to offer personalized care tailored to the needs of his patients across a broad spectrum of ophthalmic subspecialties. Dr. Au is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese.
