Dr Ben Gupta

Dr. Gupta is a highly qualified dental and maxillofacial surgeon with extensive experience training and practicing in both the UK and Australia. After graduating from the University of Liverpool in 2001 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Dr. Gupta went on to work as a General Dental Practitioner specializing in orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental sedation. In 2004, he began his surgical training as a Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham.

Dr. Gupta then moved to Sydney, Australia where he obtained a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Newcastle in 2009. During his medical training, he completed rotations in medical, emergency, critical care, and surgical disciplines within the Hunter junior medical officer network. He then completed his surgical training in 2016 within the NSW and ACT networks where he worked in Sydney and Canberra hospitals.

After his surgical training, Dr. Gupta accepted a Fellowship position back at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham where he furthered his skills in Temporomandibular Joint Surgery, surgical correction of sleep apnoea, and complex facial deformity including cleft and distraction steogenesis. He has presented his research at both national and international meetings, published articles in peer-reviewed journals, and is a current reviewer for the British Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for TMJ disorders.
