Dr Bailey Sanderson is a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist based in Bella Vista, Sydney. She obtained her Medical degree from The University of Sydney in 2010, and completed her medical training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney. In addition to her medical degree, Dr Sanderson also holds degrees in Science and Commerce from The University of New South Wales.
Dr Sanderson completed her specialist training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Gosford and Blacktown Hospitals. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA). As a highly skilled specialist, Dr Sanderson possesses the necessary expertise to provide the highest quality of care to her patients.
Dr Sanderson's areas of interest within gastroenterology include Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Colonoscopy, Endoscopy, and Hepatology. She has special interests in cancer screening, with an emphasis on prevention and early detection, as well as in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Liver Disease, and Functional Gut Disorders including Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Dr Sanderson prioritizes patient care and communication. She believes in treating her patients with the highest standard of care and strives to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to all of her patients. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Sanderson serves as a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at Western Sydney University, where she helps train and educate future healthcare providers.
Dr Sanderson's professional affiliations, including her fellowship and memberships, highlight her commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in the field of gastroenterology. She is also accredited in upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy, as certified by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE).
