Dr Alpana Kulkarni

Dr Alpana Kulkarni is a Paediatrician based in Murdoch, Perth, Western Australia. With over 15 years of experience, she is highly regarded for her expertise in general paediatric issues for babies, children, and teenagers, as well as her comprehensive consultations for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), oppositional behaviors, anger issues, sleep disorders, learning difficulties, language disorders, tics and Tourette’s Disorder, anxiety and depression, and a range of other conditions.

Dr Kulkarni is an active member of the medical community, participating in various training and development programs. She is a certified Autism Assessment trained member and has completed the 3di Autism Diagnosis Training. Additionally, she is a certified Griffiths and Bayle’s Developmental Tester and has received training in the Family Partnership Program, Leadership Program, OSCE Medical Student examination, DCH Examiner, and Accreditation and Training for Supervisor of Advanced Training.

In her professional career, Dr Kulkarni has made significant contributions to paediatrics. She is the founder and director of Wexford KIDS®, an organization that focuses on providing timely comprehensive services for all children, particularly those facing challenges. Dr Kulkarni believes in a holistic approach to healthcare, placing great importance on effective communication with patients and their families. She aims to empower families and children to take ownership of their health and works closely with allied health professionals and educators to optimize patient outcomes.

Outside of her practice, Dr Kulkarni holds various roles within the medical community. She is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the School of Paediatrics and Child Health (UWA), a board member for the Western Australian Autism Diagnosticians' Forum (WAADF), and a member of the Neurobehavioural and Paediatric Society of Australasia (NBPSA).
