Prof Alex Hewitt is a highly accomplished Ophthalmologist based in Glenorchy, Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. With a primary focus on Paediatric Ophthalmology, Prof Hewitt also has significant expertise in Adult General Ophthalmology, Glaucoma, Cataracts, and Medical Retina.

Prof Hewitt obtained his Bachelor of Medical Science degree with Honors, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honors. He further pursued his passion for Ophthalmology by attaining a Master of Medical Science degree and a Ph.D.
