Zoe Russell

Zoe Russell, FACP, is an accomplished Specialist Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist based in Queensland, renowned for her exceptional qualifications and experience in the field. Awarded fellowship by the Australian College of Physiotherapists in 2021, she has been a dedicated member of the PhysioWorks team since 2008. Zoe is passionate about developing personalized rehabilitation programs aimed at treating sports injuries, optimizing athletic performance, and preventing future injuries among her patients. With a distinct focus on lower limb injuries—including those affecting the hip, knee, and ankle—Zoe adeptly conducts comprehensive assessments and treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Her extensive knowledge of sports physiotherapy, paired with her compassionate approach, has earned her the respect and admiration of numerous patients who commend her for her approachable demeanor and expertise. In her role at the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS), Zoe works closely with elite athletes from Australian Swimming and Sailing programs, contributing her skills and insights to help them reach peak performance. Notably, she served as a physiotherapist for Swimming Australia during the prestigious 2024 Paris Olympic Games, where her athletes triumphed with multiple gold medals, further solidifying her reputation as a leading professional in sports physiotherapy.
