Graduating in 1987, he honed his skills as a new graduate Physiotherapist at the renowned Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he laid the foundation for his extensive career in rehabilitation and sports physio. Following his time at the hospital, Patrick spent two impactful years working in private practice in Hobart, Tasmania, before transferring his expertise to Brisbane. His dedication to sports physiotherapy led him to collaborate with prestigious teams such as the Brisbane Broncos, where his insights contributed significantly to athlete recovery and performance optimization. Patrick’s passion for continued education drove him to obtain a post-graduate Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in Adelaide in 1991-1992, further enhancing his capabilities in treating complex musculoskeletal conditions. In 1994, Patrick returned to Brisbane to establish his own private practice, where he nurtured partnerships with leading Orthopaedic Surgeons at the Brisbane Private Hospital. His extensive involvement with various sporting teams, including the Queensland Reds under 21 and Queensland B Rugby Union teams, as well as Norths Rugby Union and Queensland Netball under 19’s and 21’s, showcases his dedication to advancing sports health in the local community.
