Fiona is a dedicated Director and Principal Physiotherapist at Bodysystem, where her expertise and compassionate approach have made a significant impact on her patients' lives. With a robust educational background, Fiona earned her Master of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from Latrobe University in 2008, following her graduation with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 1993. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science at Adelaide University, laying the groundwork for her keen understanding of the human body. Since joining Bodysystem in 2005, Fiona has been a pivotal member of the team. In 2014, she took on the role of Director alongside her colleague Kellie Wilkie, further showcasing her leadership abilities in the field of physiotherapy. As a proud member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), Fiona maintains high standards of practice, continually seeking to enhance her skills and knowledge in musculoskeletal health. Fiona has a deep passion for helping patients overcome their injuries and improve their quality of life. Her special interests include the assessment and treatment of dancers, ensuring they maintain peak performance while preventing injuries. She also focuses on providing effective treatment for neck, back, pelvis, and shoulder issues, tailoring her therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual. Outside of her professional commitments, Fiona is an advocate for personal health and fitness. She adheres to a regular exercise regime, which includes gym-based strength training, walking, cycling, and occasionally running. Furthermore, Fiona enjoys exploring nature through bushwalking and paddle boarding, cherishing quality time spent with her family. By combining her professional expertise with her personal pursuits, Fiona continues to inspire confidence in her patients as they embark on their rehabilitation journeys.
